One of Kyoto’s three most unique festivals! The Kurama Fire Festival!With the chant of "SAIREYAA, SAIRYO!", the beat of drums, and a whirl of flames in front of a massive crowd, the Kurama Fire Festival reaches its climax around 8:00 PM.
Torches carried through the streets gather at the gate of Kurama Temple, will thrown down.
After this peak moment, people start heading home around 9:00 PM.
But did you know that another "Kurama Fire Festival" begins?
This tour will visit after the main event to witness "The Last Glow", and the grand finale of the six-hour-long festival.
